The idea for SF Actors began as our local production company, Imaginative Productions, was looking to cast the very best Bay Area talent.  It was all but impossible to find a reliable source from which to hire actors on an ongoing basis. We realized that there must be others constantly facing the same situation and decided to create a place where great local talent could be found and make their presence known to the casting community. This led us to create a web site from which any production, nationwide, can hire the best talent the Bay Area has to offer.  This is a considerable undertaking, as SF Actors interview, instruct, test and decode what makes a working actor the best.  There are many considerations involved.  Training, business ethics, look, castability, and most important desire on the part of the talent.  The demands of the industry are many and must all be met.
