Q: Why are my new pictures and /or video not up on the site?
A: It can take up to a week for turn around on all forms of media being added to the SFActors site.
Please check to make sure they were actually sent to SFActors and if they were sent to the
right email address: Imaginativeproductions@gmail.com
Q: Why are my headshots so small or are of such poor quality?
A: All photos sent to SFActors are used as you send them. We do not alter or re-compress them as
long as the images are not more than 612x792 pixels or the size of a standard piece of paper. If
they are larger than this, we may make them smaller but never smaller than 612x792 pixels. All
photos sent to us are requested to be in “TIF” format because this file type does not lose
quality if it must be altered as other file types such as “JPG” files are. The quality you send us is
the quality we place onto the site.
Remember that looking at the thumbnail version of your image may be of a lessor quality only
because it is a thumbnail image.
Q: Why is there a generic statement in my spotlight area?
A: Remember that you must assist in your marketing and send SFActors any new work or
important projects you are working on and would like others to know about, otherwise, we
don’t know what is going on in your life and what to post about you. Send this information to
SPOTLIGHT INFORMATION. If we don’t receive the information, these are the
statements that will be under your spotlight:
(Actor) is enjoying the casting.
(Actor) continues his (her) ongoing training at the Shari Carlson Studio. Weekly workshops
include advanced on-camera technique,commercial training, in depth scene work and improv training.
(Actor) enjoys developing essential skills with his (her) ongoing training at the Shari Carlson
Studio.
Q: Why is my Spotlight not on the top position?
A: There are normally two to three people in the spotlight at all times but the top position is reserved
for the Platinum Level. Everyone on the spotlight page is sent out on the RSS Feed to all the
subscribers to view. You will be seen and sent out with the updates on the Spotlight.
Q: Why are there no links to my website or imdb listing?
A: This is a Platinum service plan, If you wish this service you may qualify and then upgrade.
If you have that plan and provided them, it may take up to a week to have them included.
For bad links, even with our quality control, sometimes things happen and we will correct them as
soon as we are informed of these situations. You may send all link information and problems to
